Our Mission
Reliable solar hot water for the world’s coldest places.
Most solar thermal systems are designed for mild climates. They fail when temperatures drop below -20°C. That is not good enough for Antarctic research stations, Arctic villages, or remote mining camps in Siberia and northern Canada.
Our mission is simple: Engineer a containerized solar hot water system that works reliably at -40°C and lower – with no freeze damage, no roof work, and no complex maintenance.
What we stand for
- Extreme cold engineering – Every component is chosen and tested for polar and sub‑arctic conditions. Drain‑back, heat tracing, extra insulation, and an internal container heater are standard, not optional.
- Containerized simplicity – We deliver a complete, pre‑assembled skid inside a standard shipping container. Connect water, power, and the collector loop. Hot water in one day. No on‑site assembly of loose parts.
- No roof work, no moving parts – Ground‑mounted evacuated tube collectors. No tracking, no fragile Fresnel lenses, no cranes, no structural surveys.
- Industrial heritage, not a startup – Founded by an industrial engineer who built containerized biodiesel refineries and algae plants in Europe and Canada. We do not sell parts. We deliver complete, tested systems.
- Modular and scalable – Start with one container. Add more as your site grows. From a 10‑person research outpost to a 200‑person mining camp, the Aurora Skid scales with you.
- Honest performance – We provide realistic savings estimates based on your location, solar radiation, and energy costs. No overpromising. No hidden assumptions.
Who we serve
- Polar research stations (Antarctic, Arctic, Greenland)
- Remote mining, oil & gas, and logging camps
- Northern communities and villages
- Military bases in cold regions
- Any site where diesel is expensive and the cold is relentless
Where we are going
Our first production units will be ready for delivery in Q3 2026. We are currently working with certified manufacturing partners and testing prototype components.
We are not trying to be the biggest solar company. We aim to be the best – for the coldest places on Earth.
